Is there any fee for the services you offer?

No, there isn't. www.book-italy.com does not charge you anything. The payment goes directly to the hotel after you supply your credit cards details. We pass them directly to the hotel you have chosen.

Credit card safety?

We need your credit card details in order to verify the reservation. Then they are directly sent to the respective hotel you have booked a room in. There is no charge for the online reservation. Eventual cancellation can result in your credit card being charged, but this is done only by the hotel. On our Security page you will find more information about how we protect your private information.

How do I find a hotel?

Choose the hotel that best matches your needs through our search interface, you can look for hotels in a specific area of Venice. Just click on the location you find the most attractive. Or, you can search for hotels according to their quality ranking. Alternatively, or you can list all the hotels and pick your favorite one.

How do I make an online reservation?

NOTE! Venere.com's reservation system does the whole reservation process. All post-reservation procedures, such as reservation confirmation and cancellation are also provided by venere.com. Once you have found the hotel you prefer, click on the ?etails?button to view a detailed description of the property. Then check its availability (refer to the checking availability issue in the FAQ). If there are any rooms available you just have to click on the Book button. A detailed description of your reservation and fields for your credit card details appear then. This information is directly sent to the hotels, so we DO NOT charge your credit card. Only in the cases of eventual cancellation, your credit card being charged, but this is done only by the hotel. If you need more information about the security aspects of your credit card information please visit the Security section of this page. There are two ways of making a reservation. Instant booking is the first one is called. Thus, you will receive a confirmation e-mail from the hotel, through our affiliate Venere.com and this will be the definite confirmation. You can choose a second option - you receive an e-mail, informing you that the hotel has received your booking request and will respond in 48 hours. Within this period of time, you will receive a message from the hotel either confirming or declining your reservation. Please be sure that you provide a valid e-mail so we can contact you though.

Checking your reservations:

You can check the status of your reservations by logging on to Venere.com and then see our reservations menu. In order to access the description of the reservations, you have to log in with your e-mail address and the password you have received with the venere.com confirmation e-mail. There are several options here - your reservation can be: Confirmed, Cancelled or A-void (meaning that the booking has been cancelled because of No-show).

What if I want to cancel my reservation?

In the our reservations menu at venere.com you can cancel your reservation through you account. When your reservation is canceled, its status will appear as CANC. Please note, that if you want to cancel a reservation without being charged, you need to do it within the cancellation period indicated on you reservation. A possibility to avoid any penalties for canceling after the deadline is to reach directly the hotel and negotiate a free of charge cancellation, if possible.

How can I modify an already existing reservation?

The only option available for clients who wish to modify an already existing reservation is to cancel it and make a new one.
